The deadline for mandatory Hoosier tires on the front of Modifieds, Sportmods and Stock cars at Thunder Hill Speedway has been extended to July 30th.  This makes the July 31st the first event where Hoosier tires must be on the front and rear of all race cars except Hobby Stocks.  With one third of the events to date rained out we want to give racers more time to use up tires from last season and delay the puchase of additional tires to continue racing at Thunderhill.

Also, to promote better parity in the Stock Car class the minimum weight for all Stock Cars racing at Thunder Hill Speedway will be 2950 pounds.  Cars racing under the Thunder Hill transition rules had been 3100 pounds but will be allowed to compete at 2950 pounds beginning with the July 3rd event.
